Good practices and benefits of the municipal material cycle (MMC) presented at the Challenges of Sustainable Development Conference
On November 16, the SB&B College of Sustainable Development organized a conference where we presented the good practice of the municipal material cycle (MMC) and the positive effects of the practice in Slovenia for the environment, community, and economy.
The municipal material cycle (MMC) of beverage cartons and hygiene paper is an example of effective circular model in the local community, connecting various partners and stakeholders. Through continuous monitoring and measuring of various aspects we demonstrate that collaboration among municipal material cycle partners brings benefits to the environment, local community, and the economy.
At the conference, presentations covered various research findings and good practices in the field of sustainable development, addressing current issues that confirm the urgency for changes in all areas.
